RAY ST. GERMAIN
July 29, 1940 – June 25, 2024

The family of Ray St. Germain announces his peaceful passing on June 25. A beloved figure in the Canadian music scene, Ray St. Germain's career spanned several decades. His dynamic stage presence, captivating voice, and contributions to the music industry as a producer and recording artist have left an indelible mark. His versatility as an entertainer and his dedication to his craft earned him numerous accolades and a cherished place in the hearts of many. Ray was “Mighty Proud” to be Métis.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Glory. She was blessed to have 50 years with her amazing husband. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Chrystal (Rob), Catherine (Mike), Ray Jr. (LeAndrea), David, and Sherry; his grandchildren, Jeff (Justin), Jordan, Catie (André), Cody, Eva, Jay, and Gemma; and his great-grandchildren Bash, Brooks, and Liam. He is survived by his sister Judie (Bob); nieces Monique (Regan) and Jasmine (Randy); and nephew Chet and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Hilda and Simon St. Germain, brother Jesse, sister Valerie, niece Melody, and half-brother Brian.

Ray St. Germain's legacy as a trailblazer in the entertainment industry and a loving family man will live on in the memories of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, but his music and spirit will continue to inspire future generations.

The St. Germain family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Deer Lodge Centre who provided compassionate care for Ray as he battled Parkinson’s.

The Celebration of Ray’s Life will take place on Saturday, July 6, at 1:30 p.m., at Calvary Temple, 440 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba (open to the public). A Live stream of the service will also be available. Please visit: Ultimate Music Theory on YouTube to attend virtually.
