DIANNE HEATHERINGTON
May 14, 1948 - October 22, 1996
With deep sadness but many beautiful
memories the family announces Dianne's
passion on October 22, 1996 at Sunnybrook
Hospital in Toronto.
Dianne was born and raised in Winnipeg
where she began a long career in music, as
lead singer and putting together
bands. Her career took her to
Toronto where she lived for the past 20
years and expanded her career into acting
in movies and theatre.
She is survived by her mother Isabelle and
her father Maurice and his wife Jean,
brothers Wayne, Ron, Randy and Ken, and
sister Pat. "Auntie Di" will also be
missed by nieces, Cathy, Mylene, Kristin,
Jennifer and nephews, Brent, Sean and
Dean, as well as countless friends.
Dianne will be remembered for many things,
her warm Sunny Smile, her quick wit, but
mostly her strong spirit. That
strength was ever present in the fight
against cancer that has taken her from
us. We are all lucky to have
experienced her indomitable spirit and
generosity.
A private memorial gathering was held in
Toronto.
